RICHARD M. BENNETT

Working directly from life, or from drawings made from life, the artist forms images in oil-based clay (plastilene).  Then, using latex and plaster, makes molds in several parts from the clay model.  Next, removes the mold, replaces the parts, and fills the mold with either hydrostone ( a strong gypsum based permanent material, or wax from which a bronze casting may be made.
